Harbor Transfers and Waiting Lists

Existing harbor customers can transfer within the harbor system as space is available.  Since turnover rates are typically slow you might be put on a waiting list for your transfer.  Each season we notify boaters on these waiting lists once their preferred space is open.

We highly recommend that if you are a new applicant waiting for space in a harbor that is currently filled you take the first available mooring in the harbor system.  Existing harbor customers have priority to transfer within the system.

At multiple times throughout the year we will post waiting lists to keep you informed as to where your application or transfer stands for that perfect space.  Feel free to contact the Chicago Harbors office to inquire about these lists and questions on the transfer process.
