In order to obtain any type of auxiliary permit in the Chicago Harbors, you must complete the auxiliary permit application and submit it, along with the required deposit.

If your auxiliary is kept in your slip, the rate for 2017 is $30.00 per foot of the size of the auxiliary plus 7% City of Chicago Tax. There is a 25% Non-Resident Fee if applicable.  If you keep your auxiliary in your slip, it must not encroach into any adjoining slip or must not result in the auxiliary or boat overhanging more than 24 inches into the fairway.

If your auxiliary is not kept in your slip, the rate for 2017 is $100.00 per foot of the size of the auxiliary plus 7% City of Chicago Tax. There is a 25% Non-Resident Fee if applicable.
