DuSable Harbor Storm Damage
Around noon today a small but strong thunderstorm blew through DuSable Harbor causing the chains on D and E docks to break free from their anchors. Chicago Harbor repair crews have successfully re-attached one dock and expect repairs to be completed by the end of tomorrow. Fortunately , it appears there we’re only a few boats with minor, cosmetic damage. Both D and E dock access will be restricted until repairs are complete. Please wait to come down to your boats until tomorrow when access will be open. We ask DuSable boaters to please inspect your vessels once access is allowed and report any damage to the Chicago Harbors. We apologize for any inconvenience and are working hard to complete repairs.
